About Us

South City Motors started as Schmidt Motors in 1947. In 1960 it became South City Motors Inc. In 2002, a new owner Don Madland took over as President of South City Motors Inc.

South City went through a complete makeover in 2002 and has since been commited to offering quality Used Cars and Trucks at affordable prices. We also offer appraisal services and specialize in appraising Collector, Muscle, and Antique vehicles.

Inventory often includes vehicles ranging in price from $2,000 up to $20,000. South City also often has a few Muscle, Classic, or Sports Cars in our inventory. We also offer extended warranties on many of our used vehicles.

South City Motors has also been part of a Major Motion Picture! Back in 1993 South City Motors starred in a short but sweet role along side Movie superstar Keannu Reeves in the Film Feeling Minnesota.
